This Privacy Policy describes how the Janapix Prompt Library Chrome extension ("Janapix", "the Extension") developed by HaziqMus handles user data. We are committed to protecting your privacy. The Extension is designed to help you save, organize, edit, copy, and reuse AI prompts directly from your browser's side panel. You can also right-click any selected text on any webpage and save it as a prompt.

2. Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal data. The Extension does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information, browsing history, or usage analytics with any third party.

The only data the Extension handles is the prompt content you explicitly choose to save. This data is created and managed entirely by you.

3. How We Use Information

Since no personal data is collected, there is no data to use, sell, or share. The prompt data you save is used solely to provide the Extension's core functionality:

Storing and displaying your saved prompts in the side panel.
Allowing you to organize, edit, copy, and reuse your prompts.
Enabling the right-click context menu to save selected text as a prompt.

4. Data Storage

All prompt data and user preferences are stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in chrome.storage API. Your data never leaves your browser and is not sent to any external server.

The Extension requests the following permissions:

sidePanel – to display the Extension's user interface in Chrome's side panel.
storage – to save your prompts and preferences locally on your device.
contextMenus – to add a "Save to Janapix Prompt Library" option to the right-click menu.

The Extension embeds a website (janapix.com) inside an iframe within the side panel to provide its interface. The Extension does not collect or intercept any data from that iframe.

5. Third-Party Services

The Extension does not connect to any external server, API, or third-party service. No data is transmitted outside of your browser.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
